One Meter Dive Competition
Entering our 14th season, the Dive Team is open to all NCC members age 18 & under on June 1.
The season is composed of five dual meets held on Sunday afternoons followed by Divisional & All Stars Meets (for qualifying divers).
We welcome all ages and levels of divers (your child must be able to swim safely from the board to the ladder and be mature enough to take direction from our coaches).
Divers who compete in at least two meets are eligible for a trophy and the right to qualify for Divisionals.

Dive Team Mailing List
This year we're continuing our dive-team specific mailing list. All communication between swimmers, parents, reps, and coaches will take place on this mailing list, so it's important that everyone subscribes. To subscribe, send an empty email to diveteam-subscribe@nccspa.com. You will receive an email in response that contains instructions on confirming your subscription. If you were subscribed last year, you're still subscribed.
Dive Team News
The NCC Sharx Dive Team is revving up for another great season and are looking forward to welcoming back our returning divers and hopefully recruiting many more kids who'd like to try the fun & exciting sport of diving. No experience is necessary, our coaches are experienced with children of all ages and levels in a positive and safe environment!
Our Coaching Staff
We are very pleased to welcome Parker Rigaux back to NCC as the head coach this year. Many of you know Parker, who has been diving and coaching for NCC for many years. He has been a star diver for B-CC and a member of the National team. He is graduating from B-CC this year, and moving on to Georgetown, where he will continue diving. He will be joined by assistant coach Grace Rosen, a rising sophomore at B-CC who is a member of the B-CC dive team and a former member of the National Team. She will bring great enthusiasm and skill to the coaching staff and we are excited to have her join us. We are also glad to welcome back Eva Lostumbo, a rising freshman at B-CC, who will assist the coaching staff with our younger divers for the second year! We have a wonderful team who are eager to work with NCC divers of all ages and abilities!

Volunteers
Integral to the success of the dive team are our wonderful volunteers. We need volunteers at each of our meets to help with judging, scoring, and ribbon writing. We are also looking for a social events coordinator, volunteer coordinator, meet manager, meet concessions manager and banquet manager. Please let us know where your interests lie and we'll find a volunteer slot for you!
Parent Representatives
We are excited to work with you on another successful dive season for the NCC Sharx. We will have a staffed table on Opening Day of the pool where you can meet the coaches and sign up in person. Feel free to contact us anytime to discuss any questions, issues or concerns!

We Need Judges and Referees!
NCC needs dive parents to become Judges and/or Referees. No experience is needed - really - and it's a great way to get a close up view of the kids diving!! Our pool needs to provide 3 judges per away meet and 2 judges and 1 ref for each home meet so it is essential that we have many of the parents go through the training. Montgomery County dive league offers one session Officials Clinics, i.e. training sessions, throughout the dive season. They are generally an hour or so long & tell you all you need to know. This "training" is valid for 3 seasons, so those who attended a clinic before the 2011 season need to attend a clinic in 2013 and those who attend this year are good for the next three years! The dates are listed in the schedule below.
