Float on down the Bayou for the NCC Swim & Dive team “Romp in the Swamp” on Saturday, July 25th from 5:00 to 9:00. We’ll be celebrating our championship seasons with some finger-licken’, down-home cookin’ catered from the Louisiana Kitchen and Bayou Bar in Bethesda. The fare will include rotisserie chicken with (or without) Cajun spice, Andouille sausage étouffée, vegetable jambalaya, green salad, homemade biscuits, chocolate, vanilla and carrot cake as well as old-fashioned root beer floats. Complimentary beer and wine will also be served during the cocktail hour. Reservations are a must for you and all swamp creatures. Look for reservation forms on the Swim Team and Dive team boards this week. Prices are $18.00 for adults (13 and over) and $9.50 for kids (12 to 4). Tots under 4 are free. These early bird prices are only good until Monday, July 20th. Then all prices go up $2 per person. Final reservations must be in by Wednesday, July 22 at 5:00 because we need to give the caterer our final numbers on that day.
