Get out your peace buttons and bell bottoms because the NCC Swim & Dive, Peace, Love and Sharx banquet is on Saturday, July 23 from 5:30 to 9:00. Wear your tie-dye and ratchet up your flower power for this fun-filled evening where we celebrate the Sharx Swim & Dive Seasons. We’ll dine on a delicious meal of hamburgers, hot dogs, pulled chicken and pulled pork sandwiches along with cole slaw, baked beans, and potato salad. Beer and wine will be served along with lemonade and iced tea. In true Love-in style, everyone at the pool is invited, but you must make reservations. Early-bird pricing of $18 for adults (anyone 12 and older) or $10 for kids will be good until this Tuesday, July 19. After that, the price goes up to $20 for adults, and $12 for kids. The last day to sign up is Thursday, July 21st, and no reservations will be accepted after that. (Sorry, we have stick it to the man and give a firm number to the caterer by then).
Signing up is easier than registering for the draft. Just look for a banquet form in the big envelopes marked “Banquet forms” on the Swim or Dive team boards, fill it out, and turn it in, along with your check by placing it in the big manila envelope marked “Banquet reservations” on the kitchen door.
