Beach Party at the Pool!

The Garrett Park Musicians’ Club, many of whom are friends and neighbors in our North Chevy Chase community, will be playing and partying with us at NCC Pool Sat Aug 18, 7 - 9 pm. The music will include many Rolling Stones and Beach Boy numbers in honor of the 50th anniversary of both those groups. The event will feature lots of sing-a-longs with music of a 60s style light rock and roll genre. Spirit and enthusiasm run high at this adult oriented, youth-welcome, event with spontaneous dancing in the isles typical. Rumor has it a Bruce Springsteen impersonator is likely to show too as well as a guest appearance, for a few numbers, from the Former Kings, a BCC high school band, infamous for their foot stomping originals! Guaranteed to be a good time and great musical participatory event. Best of all its free! Open to members and their guests.
