Rita Eisenberg wins gold
Master Shark Rita Eisenberg Takes Home Gold, Silver in Maryland Senior Olympics.
Our own Rita Eisenberg had two gold medal swims and one silver medal swim at the Maryland Senior Olympics swimming venue late last September at Towson University. Competing in the 75-79 year old age group, Rita had first place finishes in the 200 and 500 yard free (4:05.69 and 9:38.94) and took second in the 100 yard free (2:00.23). Rita trained with Sharx coach John Tollefson at last summer's very popular masters program. In June, Rita will head to Louisville, Ky, to compete in the National Senior Olympics. Tip your Sharx swim cap to Rita when you see her at the pool this summer. Congratulations!!!
