Swim Team is looking for Captains

This summer we are looking for three 15-18 year old swimmers to be our swim team captains. These three swimmers will be role models for our younger athletes by attending practices and team events, and by having excellent sportsmanship during all of our competitions. Team captains will be an integral part of our swim team’s spirit division. Captains will help come up with swim meet themes, lead cheers at swim meets, and assist coaches by ensuring our younger swimmers make it to the start and are psyched to swim fast! Team captains will assist coaches during Saturday and Wednesday meets by cheering on our younger swimmers, calming their nerves, and by helping to ensure each swimmer makes it to his/her event. Team Captains must be able to help out during meets but not at the expense of their own races. Team Captains need to be on time and ready to race during each one of their own events. SSL hours will be awarded to Team Captains.
