Get your kids involved in the very popular Junior Tennis Program that is coordinated with the NCCSPA swim team practices and swim meets. The Junior Tennis Program is designed to teach tennis skills and technique in an organized and fun atmosphere. A certified tennis professional from Georgetown Prep Tennis Club will organize each day's format to meet age and ability levels. RalleyBall Program Feature: The tennis professionals from Georgetown Prep are very excited to introduce the United States Tennis Association (USTA) RalleyBall Program as part of the summer Junior Tennis Program described above. RalleyBall is a method for teaching tennis skills using an organized team sport format designed to increase fun and learning. Including both "practice time" and "match time", students learn basic skills necessary to "ralley" the ball. By promoting "live action play", RalleyBall increases the child's enjoyment and success.
Note, no class will be held on July 4th and the afternoon schedule may be adjusted to accommodate children participating in swim team meets. Although no weather related refunds will be offered, participants may schedule, with the tennis professional, missed classes in alternate weeks or attend a similar class at the Georgetown Prep Tennis Club. Sign up by calling the Georgetown Prep Tennis Club at 301-816-9713.
