Common Soon: The Land of Woodend explores 400 years of history (Film)

Time & Date to Be Announced.  The Land of Woodend explores 400 years of history, mystery, beauty, blight, and transformation on the land that has been home to North Chevy Chase for nearly 100 years and to the Audubon Naturalist Society for the past 50 years. It reveals how we’re renewing habitats and strengthening ties to nature for all in the DC region. It covers the transformation of the NCC region over four centuries, from Native Americans to slavery, tobacco farms, suburbs, and nature preserves. This inspiring, informative 60-minute documentary was created by ANS in celebration of their 50th anniversary.  Producer Ben Israel will attend and will be available for Q&A after the film.
