Social Events at the Pool
The pool’s social committee is very excited to roll out a great summer line-up of activities. All pool events are volunteer-driven and can’t happen without someone stepping up to the plate. Please see where a coordinator is needed, and volunteer by contacting Jody Gan at: email@example.com.
Celebrate at NCC Pool — Annual Italian Pasta Potluck Dinner: Friday, June 16th @ 7:00pm
As we often do, with “That’s Amore” and other hits of this era in the background, we’ll be celebrating the last day of MCPS with a pool-wide Italian pasta potluck dinner. Everyone contributes – so everyone eats & eats!
Please bring a dish to share w/ 8- 10 hungry parents and kids!
Last names A-D & T-Z — bring an appetizer/ veggie dish/ dessert
Last names F-S – bring a main dish.
Salad, bread, drinks and paper goods will be provided.
Stacy Berman has agreed AGAIN to coordinate but will need a handful of volunteers to help with set up and clean up (thank you, Stacy!!!!). Volunteers arrive at 5pm!! Please email Stacy at STACY.BERMAN@Longandfoster.com if you can help.

Father’s Day Magic Show and Popsicles: Sunday, June 18th 3:00 pm
Young and old can spend some special time with dad or grandpa at a magic show under the pavilion. Louis the Magician will read minds, make things appear and disappear, and keep both kids and adults on the edge of their chairs. Rain or shine, the show will go on, so plan on coming Sunday afternoon.

Fourth of July BBQ and Games: Tuesday, July 4 @ 12 noon
It’s THE party of the season and an NCCSPA tradition. We’ll supply the burgers (beef and veggie), hot dogs and fixings and an afternoon of fun-filled activities for all ages. From sack races to the coin toss to the belly flop contest, and of course the highly competitive “family” raft race, you will not want to miss the festivities.
Sunday Sundae Party to Welcome Second Half Members: Sunday, July 16th 6:30 pm
NEW THIS SUMMER: Let’s celebrate our new members who bring a fresh wave of energy and enthusiasm to the pool. Bring your own dinner and we will provide new and old members with an impressive sundae bar—an NCCSPA trademark.

Under the Sea Swim and Dive Banquet (All Members Able to Purchase Tickets): Saturday, July 22
The pool grounds and pavilion are transformed to an enchanted undersea garden with mermaids, colorful sea life, and sunken treasure for this special evening celebrating the end of the season for our hard-working swimmers and divers. The pool remains open but anyone wishing to enjoy dinner and activities must purchase tickets in advance.
Crab Feast and Concert: Saturday, August 26th 6:30 pm
Whether you sign up/purchase crabs or come with your own dinner and enjoy the live band, this “best of summer” event will make you happy to be an NCCSPA member. More details to come from Crabby Carrie!
Doggy Dip and Dessert Party: Monday, September 4th (Labor Day) 7:00 pm
Upon the unleashing of “Who Let the Dogs Out”, friendly dogs are invited for the last swim of the season. Bring a dessert for the humans to share as we thank Steve and the guards for another amazing summer.
